Thousands of our neighbors right here in St. Croix and Pierce Counties have never known that feeling, never known the comfort of home.

When you give, you help those families break the cycle of poverty and build long-term financial security. Far more than just helping them escape crowded, unsafe, unstable and unaffordable housing - your gift builds hope for families in need.

Hope to put down Roots: We’ve helped nearly 50 families build deep roots in their communities, send their kids to local schools and universities. Grounded, settled families mean a better workforce, a broader tax base, and more vibrant neighborhoods and municipalities.

Hope to Grow: Our homeowners are investing in themselves and their future, building equity both financially and socially. They are breaking the cycle of poverty and dependence, and standing on their own feet.

Hope to Give Back: Every month, our families pay down their mortgages. That’s money we use to build and renovate even more homes – almost $100,000 in our “Fund for Humanity” every year. On average, Habitat families pay $2,400 in property taxes, growing their communities with a combined total of over $80,000 dollars every year!
