Welcome to the SCV Habitat for Humanity St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity is a local, non-profit, Christian housing ministry in Pierce and St. Croix counties that is dedicated to helping our community to partner with people in need of affordable home ownership, by enabling them to acquire simple, decent, homes and improving their lives by surrounding them with people who want to live and share God’s purposeful love and care.
Our Vision
St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity is a local, non-profit, Christian housing ministry in Pierce and St. Croix counties that is dedicated to helping our community to partner with people in need of affordable home ownership, by enabling them to acquire simple, decent, homes and improving their lives by surrounding them with people who want to live and share God’s purposeful love and care.
We think that the affluent might well be humbled by the endurance, optimism, courage, and resourcefulness of the poor as they struggle against great odds to make ends meet for themselves and their families. And for those who stand by and watch this whole process and interaction, we hope they will be pleasantly surprised and do some serious thinking about the disparity between the affluent and poor.
